7 Best Hyperbound Alternatives for Sales Teams

Quick answer:

  • The best Hyperbound alternative for most sales teams of 3 to 100 reps is TrackPoint. It records and scores every real call itself, emails the recap, and turns weak moments into AI roleplay practice, so you don’t need Gong underneath.
  • If you only want AI roleplay with a free way to start, look at Outdoo or Yoodli.
  • If you want polished video avatars, look at Second Nature. If you already run a big enablement platform, look at Mindtickle.

Hyperbound is one of the best-known AI sales roleplay tools, and its free plan with 45 prebuilt roleplays is a good way in. But the full loop, where real calls get scored and turned into practice, sits on its Perform plan, which gets calls through recorder and dialer integrations like Gong, Zoom and Orum. Both paid plans are “book a demo.” So teams usually look for an alternative for one of three reasons: they don’t want to buy Gong just to feed Hyperbound, they want a price before a sales call, or they want something simpler for a smaller team. Below are the seven we’d put on a shortlist in that spot, with ours first.

The shortlist

Tool Best for Scores real calls AI roleplay Pricing Free option
TrackPoint Teams that want calls recorded, scored and turned into practice in one tool Yes, with its own notetaker Yes, built from your real calls On our pricing page Free roleplay, no account
Second Nature Video avatar roleplay for large sales orgs Not described on its site Yes, AI video avatars Quote-based Sample roleplays on its site
Outdoo AI roleplay with a free starting tier On its separate Revenue Intelligence Growth plan Yes Quote-based 60 free roleplay minutes
PitchMonster Phone, face-to-face and screen-share practice On its higher plan (“Call analysis”) Yes Quote-based, per seat Trial after a demo
Mindtickle Teams already on a big enablement platform Through its Conversation Intelligence product Yes Quote-based Free demo roleplay
Yoodli Cheap individual practice; Gong users Only calls imported from Gong Yes Free; Pro $8, Advanced $20 a month (annual) Free Starter plan
Gong AI Trainer Teams already paying for Gong Yes, Gong’s core product Yes, since February 2026 Part of Gong; not public No self-serve trial

We pulled every price and plan above from the vendors’ own sites in October 2026. They move around, so confirm before you sign anything.

How we picked these Hyperbound alternatives

We judged each one as if we ran an SDR team of 10 or 20 reps and had to defend the budget. Four questions decided it:

  1. Does it score real calls, or only practice ones? Practice is only half the job. The other half is knowing what reps actually got wrong with real buyers.
  2. Do you need another tool to make it work? Some tools only coach on calls recorded somewhere else.
  3. Can you see a price, or at least start free? A 10-rep team shouldn’t need three demos to find out if something fits the budget.
  4. Can you build practice from your own material? Generic buyers are fine for day one. Your objections and your playbook are what matter after that.

Why do teams look for Hyperbound alternatives?

Mostly cost and setup. Hyperbound’s real call scoring, call summaries and “AI Coach (Calls to Practice)” are on its Perform plan, and Perform gets calls through integrations with recorders and dialers. If you don’t already own one, that’s a second contract. Vendr reports a median Gong contract of about $55,359 a year, and a median Hyperbound contract of about $12,000 a year on top.

The other reason is the manager’s calendar. An SDR manager can’t listen back to forty cold calls a day, and a half hour of review plus a half hour of drills per rep adds up to a full working day each week on an 8-person team. Gartner’s late-2023 survey of 501 sellers found 77% already struggle to get through the tasks they’re assigned. Whatever replaces Hyperbound has to lift that load, not add a second dashboard to check.

1. TrackPoint: best Hyperbound alternative for small sales teams

TrackPoint covers the same ground Hyperbound’s Perform plan does, but it brings its own recorder. Calls don’t have to arrive from Gong or a dialer first, which is the main reason SDR teams switch.

TrackPoint call analysis: an overall score of 72 out of 100 on a sales scorecard, session metrics, things done well and areas to improve

Reps connect a Google or Outlook calendar, and a notetaker sits in on their Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams meetings (dialer calls can be uploaded as recordings). Each call gets a score against your sales scorecard, the people on the invite get a recap with next steps, and the moments where a rep stalled come back to them as practice.

Picture an SDR manager with two quotes open: Gong plus Hyperbound on one tab, a single tool on the other. Meanwhile her reps keep dying at the gatekeeper. The front desk says “she’s in meetings all week, try email,” and the call ends. In TrackPoint, those calls get flagged, and each rep gets a gatekeeper roleplay with an AI receptionist who uses the same line, plus a score they have to clear. When one of them finally books a discovery call, they can hit Practice on the calendar invite and rehearse against a buyer researched from that company.

Because the AI buyers run on Semantic Reasoning, a prospect won’t volunteer budget or timing until the rep earns it, which is exactly the habit cold callers need. The manager gets one team view of calls and scores, and can turn a cold call script or a winning call into a new roleplay the same afternoon.

  • Best for: SDR and AE teams of 3 to 100 reps that want call scoring and practice without paying for Gong to feed it.
  • Pricing: listed on our pricing page, and there’s a free roleplay to test first.
  • Data: stored in the US, Canada or Europe, and never used to train AI models.

2. Second Nature: best for AI video avatar roleplay

Second Nature is an AI roleplay platform for sales where reps practice discovery calls, needs assessment, objection handling and product demos against AI video avatars. It has “Moving Avatar” scenarios and multi-persona meetings where a rep handles more than one buyer at once, and it can turn your scripts, recordings and sales material into practice.

You’ll get a price through a quote. For a ballpark, Vendr’s median Second Nature deal is roughly $19,000 a year, and G2 reviewers say setup took them around two months.

  • Best for: large sales orgs that want practice to look like a video call.
  • Good to know: its site doesn’t describe a notetaker that records and scores your real calls. See TrackPoint vs. Second Nature.

3. Outdoo: best for starting AI roleplay free

Outdoo offers AI sales roleplay with a free tier: 60 minutes of roleplay credits, no credit card and no sales call, with scorecards and AI coaching feedback included. Its paid Growth and Enterprise plans are quote-based, and its pricing page says most teams are live in four to six weeks.

Call recording and AI call scoring are a separate product, Outdoo Revenue Intelligence, where scoring is on the Growth plan.

  • Best for: teams that want to test AI roleplay before talking to anyone.
  • Good to know: practice and call scoring are two products, so budget for both if you want the loop.

4. PitchMonster: best for practice beyond the phone

PitchMonster is AI sales training built for B2B conversations. Reps practice in three modes (phone, face-to-face and screen-share), get scored on criteria you write, and talk through the session with an AI coach afterward. It lists 29 languages and dialects.

Seats are quoted, and a 12-month term is the norm. If you want it to score real calls (“Call analysis”), that sits on the upper plan next to its AI Coach and Gong integration.

  • Best for: teams that sell in person or over screen share as much as on the phone.
  • Good to know: to see a price or start a trial, you’ll book a demo first.

5. Mindtickle: best if you already run a big enablement platform

Mindtickle’s AI Sales Role Play is part of what it calls an “all-in-one revenue enablement platform,” alongside sales training, content management, coaching and Conversation Intelligence. Reps practice objection handling, discovery, cold calls and renewals in short sessions, in 25+ languages, and managers can automate certification based on scores they set.

Mindtickle quotes by company size and team structure rather than listing prices, though you can try one demo roleplay on its website.

  • Best for: larger companies that want roleplay inside a full enablement suite.
  • Good to know: for an SDR team that just wants cold call practice and call scoring, a full suite is a lot to adopt.

6. Yoodli: best low-cost practice for teams on Gong

Yoodli is an AI roleplay platform for enablement and certification. Individuals can start on the free Starter plan (5 sessions total) and move to Pro or Advanced, listed at $8 and $20 a month on annual billing. Team and Enterprise plans, with assignments and team dashboards, are custom-priced.

Its August 2026 Post-Call Coaching feature scores real calls and spins up a matching roleplay, but the calls have to be pulled in from Gong; Yoodli doesn’t name any other source.

  • Best for: reps who want cheap individual practice, or teams that already own Gong.
  • Good to know: there’s no Yoodli recorder, so real-call coaching depends on having Gong. See TrackPoint vs. Yoodli.

7. Gong AI Trainer: best for teams already locked into Gong

If Gong is already your call recorder, its own roleplay may be the shortest path. AI Trainer arrived on February 25, 2026, letting reps “rehearse scenarios such as pricing objections or renewal risk using AI-generated simulations,” and June’s Dry Run release added rehearsals that start “directly from an upcoming calendar invite.”

Gong doesn’t publish prices. Vendr reports a median contract of about $55,359 a year, with no self-serve free trial and a typical minimum of 10 to 15 seats.

  • Best for: large revenue orgs already on Gong that want roleplay in the same place.
  • Good to know: it’s priced for big teams. See TrackPoint vs. Gong and our list of Gong alternatives.

Do you need practice on top of a call tool, or one tool for both?

Hyperbound’s own pitch is that Gong records the call and Hyperbound turns it into practice. That works if you already own Gong. If you don’t, you’re buying two products to get one result: reps who stop making the same mistake.

Take the gatekeeper problem from earlier. A roleplay tool can drill it, but only after a manager spots the pattern and builds the scenario. A call recorder can spot it, but it won’t make anyone rehearse. With both in one tool, the brush-off a rep lost to this morning is the drill they pass before lunch tomorrow.

Which Hyperbound alternative should you pick?

Pick based on what you already own and what you need the tool to do after the call.

  • You want calls recorded, scored and turned into practice in one tool: TrackPoint.
  • You want AI video avatars: Second Nature.
  • You want to try AI roleplay free first: Outdoo or Yoodli.
  • You practice in person or over screen share a lot: PitchMonster.
  • You already run a large enablement platform: Mindtickle.
  • Gong is staying no matter what: Gong AI Trainer.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best Hyperbound alternative?

TrackPoint is the best Hyperbound alternative for sales teams of 3 to 100 reps. It records and scores every real call with its own notetaker, emails the recap, and turns weak moments into AI roleplays, so you don’t need Gong to make it work. If you only want roleplay, Outdoo and Yoodli are worth a look.

How much does Hyperbound cost?

There’s a free tier with 45 ready-made roleplays; Practice and Perform, the paid plans, are priced after a demo, and Vendr reports a median contract of about $12,000 a year. Real call scoring is on Perform, which gets calls from tools like Gong, Zoom and Orum.

Is there a free Hyperbound alternative?

Yes. Outdoo has a free tier with 60 minutes of roleplay credits, and Yoodli has a free Starter plan with 5 sessions. On TrackPoint, anyone can run a free roleplay without signing up or booking a call.

Hyperbound vs Second Nature: what’s the difference?

Both are AI sales roleplay platforms. Hyperbound focuses on SDR and AE practice like cold calls and discovery, and scores real calls on its Perform plan through integrations. Second Nature leads with AI video avatars and multi-persona meetings. TrackPoint adds what both are missing as a single tool: its own notetaker that records and scores every real call, then turns weak moments into practice.

Does Hyperbound record calls?

Hyperbound’s Perform plan scores real calls that come in through recorder and dialer integrations like Gong, Zoom and Orum. Its free and Practice plans are roleplay only. TrackPoint’s notetaker joins your Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls directly.

What’s the best Hyperbound alternative for a small team?

TrackPoint, because one tool covers call recording, scoring, recaps and practice, and you can start without a sales call. Yoodli is the cheapest option for individual practice if you don’t need real-call coaching.

Does TrackPoint use our calls to train AI models?

No. TrackPoint never uses customer data, including recordings and transcripts, to train its own or anyone else’s AI models, and you choose whether your data lives in the United States, Canada or Europe. See our security page.

So, which Hyperbound alternative is right for you?

If you already own Gong and run a large SDR floor, a practice layer on top can work. If you want every call reviewed and every rep coached without stacking tools, that’s what we built TrackPoint for.
